If a TIP project widens a road from 2 lanes to 5 lanes, the new 5-lane road is not considered a perpendicular barrier. Similarly, as long as there is some space where a pedestrian can walk which is not in an automobile travel lane, the new 5-lane road is not considered a lateral barrier either.

 We biked from Raleigh to Durham one beautiful fall Sunday with the intention of taking the 2:30PM Amtrak Piedmont service back into the city after stopping in downtown Durham for brunch.  The cost for a one-way trip is $6.50 to Raleigh, and there is currently no charge to bring a bicycle.

Copenhagen – History of City Development &amp; Harbor Cleaning Efforts</title><summary type='text'>Historical Development of CopenhagenThis morning I took a water taxi (Photo, Right) across the harbor to meet the group at the Danish School of Architecture.  The water taxi is actually part of the public transportation system and you can transfer onto it just like you would a train or a bus.  The fare is also the same. I now have access to the internet through 'guest access' at the Royal Danish Library (Photo, Right) , a 10 minute walk from the Hostel where I am staying.Yes, it's true. We were fortunate to find any bicycle rental shop open since today was a holiday that the Danish celebrate called Pinse. He clued me in on all sorts of things that make Denmark what it is.  Apparently, if you look at a person in Copenhagen and their ankles roll slightly inward, they are probably Danish.
